string quartet competition
Within the scope of the 12th annual Weidener Max-Reger-Tage between August 30 and September 1, 2010 the Weidener Max-Reger-Tage sponsorship award will be presented for the 5th consecutive time - this year for string quartets.
Interested string quartets can apply here until July 15th.
awards
Prizes in the amount of 10.000,- € are awarded. The winners will be invited to following concerts.

repertoire
The repertoire includes movements and quartets of Reger, Mozart or Haydn and Beethoven as well as quartet compositions form the 19th and 20th century.
