eligibility requirements

The average age of the quartet must not be above 30 years.

The members of the quartet must be able to verify their tertiary education at a national or international academy or a comparable education. Alternatively a verification of an artistic occupation may be accepted.

The number of participants is limited. The jury will decide about admission. Every participant allowed to participate will recive a written affirmation of admission by July 25, 2010.

The attendance fee is 50 Euros. It has to be paid free of charge for the recipient after the affirmation of admission by August 2, 2010 at latest to:

The admission fee will in no case be reimbursed. The organizer will pay all costs for accomodation in a hotel of their choice starting from the 3rd round. Board and fare will be at the participants' own expense.

The organizer of the competition is authorized to record any presentations within the scope of the competition both audible and visual and use it to propagate the competition. The organizer particularly reserves the right to allow radio and television stations to record and broadcast any events of the competition. This does not result in financial claims for the participants. Winners commit themselves to participate in the winners concert free of charge. The organizers of the competition assume no liability for the musical instruments or properties of the participants.

By applying for the competition, the participant agrees on the terms and conditions of the competition including its procedure and the required course.
