was born in 1965 in Bonn. She studied Viola in Düsseldorf with Jürgen Kussmaul and chamber music, amongst others with the Alban Berg Quartett und Walter Levin. In 1988 she founded the Minguet Quartet. As its member and manager until 2007 she had many international concerto engagements as well as premieres of new works. In spring 2008 she opened Konzertkontor Schwalb for professional Chamber Music Ensembles.
